Meet Rob

My name is Rob Bankosky, and I’m the founder and lead contractor at RMB Renovations. With over thirty years experience in general contracting, project management, and customer satisfaction, you’ll be in good hands with my team.

Renovations are a family affair

I started working on job sites with my dad, Bob Bankosky, from the time I was old enough to walk and hold a hammer (scroll down to see some old pictures!). After school and on weekends, I learned the tools of the trade helping Dad build dozens of the houses you now live in and enjoy in the City of Kingston.

Now, it’s my great joy to be able to pass my knowledge to my kids and grandkids! You’ll see a collection of photos of us working on different projects together over the years. My daughters love to take some silly photos, so you’ll see their personalities show through.

My family loves to participate! From my family to yours, let me help you make your house a home.

Family Tradition

Let’s take a blast to the past. My mom and wife were able to find some of these old pictures of Dad and I working on one of his job sites, circa 1982. In the picture below, we were building house footings. In the picture to the right, we were taking a break that Saturday from framing to go to a wedding.

Memories Become Treasures

My children were amazed when I showed them this photo and explained the man in the yellow hard hat is not me! I am crawling just behind him and my hair is so blond I blend in with the wooden platform we’re on. We’ve added red marker to help you see me.

I’ve been playing and working on job sites for over fifty years now!
